General Auto Instruments has worked with automotive, marine and industrial instruments since 1975. Our electrical engineer has specialised in instrument repair and calibration since 1998.
We led Australia’s transition to digital instrument servicing in the late 1990s, becoming the first Australian company to develop programming tools for instrument clusters with digital odometers and internal memory. We were also the first in Australia to supply these specialist tools to other instrument repairers.
Our experience ranges from classic Smiths speedometers and tachometers and Holden bi-metal gauges through to modern, fully digital instrument clusters.
