About this product

CSM all-steel detachable stud ball joints for gear-shift linkages, throttle controls, machinery and other mechanical linkage applications. Both the ball housing and ball stud are manufactured from low-carbon steel and zinc plated with yellow, clear or white-blue passivation for corrosion resistance. Unlike permanently assembled ball joints, the ball stud can be detached from the housing for easier installation and servicing. The CS design incorporates a spring-steel safety clip on the ball housing to retain the detachable stud securely during operation. CS versions also include spanner flats on the ball stud to assist installation and removal. Special configurations, left-hand housing threads, sealing caps and alternative materials may be available on request.
