Heavy-duty Australian-manufactured PTO control cable kit for operating mechanical power take-off engagement and disengagement mechanisms. Select the required finished cable length from 2 to 6 metres. The outer conduit is supplied at the selected finished length and is not intended to be trimmed. The solid stainless-steel inner wire can be trimmed after installation. Select a cable length suitable for the complete routing between the control handle and PTO mechanism. 2. Route and secure the cable, avoiding sharp bends, hot components and moving parts. 3. Fit the cable using the appropriate mounting and linkage components from the supplied fitting kit. 4. Loosely install the adjustable cable stop on the solid stainless-steel inner wire. 5. Operate the control through its complete movement and check that the PTO mechanism reaches both the fully engaged and fully disengaged positions without binding. 6. Adjust the cable stop until the correct movement is achieved. 7. Tighten the cable stop securely. 8. Trim the excess inner wire only after the complete installation and adjustment have been confirmed. Important: Do not cut or trim the outer conduit. Select the required finished cable length before ordering. Only the solid stainless-steel inner wire should be trimmed during installation. The comprehensive fitting kit is designed to suit most common dealer-installed PTO arrangements, but installations can vary.
