About this product
Heavy-duty PTO lever and control cable kit featuring an adjustable manual control lever and Australian-manufactured cable. Suitable for concrete-truck and concrete-pump PTO controls, industrial machinery, marine applications and other equipment requiring a substantial manually operated lever. The lever position can be adjusted to suit the installation. Select the required cable length from 2 to 6 metres. The outer conduit and solid stainless-steel inner wire can be trimmed to suit the installation. **Cable construction:** - Heavy-duty 7 mm outer conduit - Low-friction HDPE liner - 2.0 mm solid stainless-steel inner wire - M8 bulkhead mounting arrangement - Heavy-duty manually operated control lever **Fitting kit includes:** - M8 bulkhead fitting with nuts and washer - Adjustable cable stop - Stainless-steel pivot fitting - Rubber dust boot - Mounting hardware **Typical applications:** - Concrete-truck PTO controls - Concrete-pump PTO controls - Industrial machinery - Agricultural machinery - Marine controls - Other mechanical push-pull control applications **Trim-to-length fitting instructions:** 1. Dummy-fit the complete lever and cable assembly to the machine and determine the required finished cable length. 2. Remove the cable assembly from the control lever. 3. Withdraw the solid stainless-steel inner wire from the outer conduit. 4. Cut the outer conduit to the required length using an angle grinder. Chamfer and clean the cut end. 5. Measure and cut the 2.0 mm solid stainless-steel inner wire to the required length, allowing sufficient wire for the selected linkage connection and full operating travel. 6. Fit the supplied M8 bulkhead fitting to the cut end of the outer conduit and secure using a suitable two-part epoxy adhesive. Allow the adhesive to cure fully before use. 7. Reassemble the cable and lever, then install the assembly on the machine. 8. Select either the adjustable cable stop or stainless-steel pivot fitting to suit the equipment linkage. 9. Adjust the selected fitting and operate the lever through its complete range of movement. Confirm that the controlled mechanism reaches the required positions without binding. 10. Secure all fittings and check the complete installation for correct operation. **Please check before ordering:** This is a universal trim-to-length lever and cable control kit rather than a direct equipment-specific replacement. Confirm the required cable length, lever mounting arrangement, operating travel and linkage connection before purchasing. Always remove the inner wire before cutting the outer conduit. Wear suitable eye and hand protection when cutting or grinding.
