Repair a stopped odometer or trip meter in a compatible Holden VS Commodore VDO instrument cluster. This complete kit includes a 20-tooth sun gear and a one-piece carrier gear, replacing both common gear failure points without reusing the original carrier base. The sun gear has an original-style top-hat spacer hub to keep it correctly positioned clear of the carrier. Australian designed and manufactured, and used in our own instrument repairs. Check before ordering: this kit suits only VS instruments with a 20-tooth sun gear. Most VS instruments use the 25-tooth version. Remove and count the teeth on your original gear, then compare it with the photographs. If unsure, send us a clear photo for identification.
